Bones are used for protection, structure, movement and produce blood cells in the bone marrow.

Axial bones keep you up right and appendicular bones help you move.
Another word for skull is cranium, and that protects the brain.

The ribcage protects the lung, heart and the liver. The ribs are made in pairs. Fixed ribs are connected to the sternum and the vertebrae, and floating ribs are just connected to the vertebrae.

The legs are made up of three bones called the femur, fibula and the tibia. The bones in the arm are called humorus, radius and ulna.

There are two kinds of joints called ball and socket eg. shoulder, the second is called hinge joint eg. wrist.

You should drink milk for calcium and go outside for vitamin D to keep your bones strong.
