.Last Thursday, the 30th of March, Bishop Fintan Monaghan payed our school a visit.
When the Bishop arrived, we sang songs. He came with Fr. Pat. We sang the Gathering Song, The Lord He is My Shepherd, Fan the Flame, Spirit Filled Day. He was explaining to us about being a bishop and about how he became a bishop. We asked him a lot of questions.
We then said prayers of the faithful. He brought in a cool half Clare, half Galway jersey with #OurFavBishop on the back with No.1. He brought his crosier and his purple Skull Cap. Myself and Mikey had pictures taken with him at the end. He was very nice.
