South America is the fourth largest continent. Built up with the countries Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Urguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Gugana, Suriname, French Guyana. There are two oceans surrounding it, the South Atlantic Ocean to the East and the South Pacific Ocean to the West.

The Amazon is the second longest river in the world. In Venezuela there is a waterfall called Angel Falls and it is the highest waterfall in the world. The Andes Mountains are 7000km long. It goes through seven countries.

The capital of Peru is Lima. The language spoken in Peru is Spanish. The population of Peru is 34,147,299. There is also a mountain called Rainbow Mountain, it is very colourful. Six Famous foods in Peru are a peruvan primer, cevicher, lomo sultado (stir fry beef), aji de galling, papas a la huancaina cuy (guinea pig). Peruvian culture is a beautiful mix of Hispanic and Native traditions.

The Inca Empire started in 1438. They would conquer surrounding tribes so that they had more land. The Incas worshipped many Gods such as Wiracocha the creator God, Inti the sun God, Mamaquilla the moon Goddess. Lllapa the thunder God and Pacha Mama the Earth Mother.

In my opinion South America sounds really nice. I would personally like to visit Argentina and maybe Peru so I can see Macha Picchu.
