Redwood Goes To Bloom

On the 31st May 2024, Redwood N.s. Attended Bloom in the Phoenix Park Dublin. All classes went except for junior infants. On the way there I was sitting beside Ella on the bus. One of our teachers Múinteoir Marie had won us tickets to go to Bloom.
When we arrived there, I was so surprised because I didn’t think the Phoenix Park was so big and I didn’t think there would be so many stalls. After a few minutes we all split up into groups. I was in Paula Sullivan’s group with Luke, Kate, Ella, Diarmuid and Sadhbh.
First we had an Agri-Aware demonstration and we saw cows, sheep, machinery and different types of grass. After that we were all allowed to get ice-creams I got a 99. A few Minutes later, we did a thing where we had to eat different foods, we had ear defenders on and we had to listen to the sound the food made in our mouth.
Next all the groups went to lots of different stalls and after a few minutes of looking at the stalls, our group went to the playground in Phoenix Park and we met Michelle’s group there and Paula Sutton’s group. After the playground we went to a few other stalls and then we went to the food hall and we got loads of free samples, my favourite ones were the cheese o’s and like this oatmeal cookie thing it was so good. After the food hall all the groups met up and we started going back to the bus. On the way home we stopped in Supermacs I got nuggets and chips.
Overall It was A really good day at Bloom and I hope I go again sometime.
