On May 31st 2024, everyone except the junior infants went to Bloom in the Phoenix Park at Dublin. We all went by bus from Redwood to Dublin. We went there because one of our teachers Marie won tickets from a compaction.

The bus journey was 3 hours long. When we got there it was about 10 O’clock. We all got split up into groups and we all walked around together but we stopped to eat our lunches then our group went to the toilets and we got ice cream.

Then we went to the food village we got some food samples, after about 10 minutes we left the food village and we passed Michelle’s group then we went to the toilets one last time. After a while we found a stage that other kids were at we found some kind of toy that launched a rocket in the sky but then we got bored and we went to the playground where we met 2 of the other we left after 10 or 15 minutes and went to the O’Neil’s shop,3 minutes later we went to the Agri-aware Demonstration. We saw 2 other groups but we waited and waited for about 45 minutes for the last group.

Half way home we went to Supermacs and I got a Pepsi, chicken, chip and an ice cream. And after 1 and a half hours later we got home.                                                By Alex

A week or 2 ago, Muinteoir Maire had won tickets for senior infants to 6th class. Everyone in redwood going had gone on bus, we went to bloom.

When we had made it to bloom, we were put into 4 groups. We all went into bloom, there was so many tents! Nothing how I thought bloom be like. We got an agri-aware demonstration, we saw cows, sheep, tractors and many more things.

We went to many stalls, I think the first one we check was the hammock stall, we got to lay down and sleep. It was very fun. We went to a playground and it was fun.
We went looking and SAW MINIONSS!! I got a hug + a hand five. I also won in a competition and won.

On the way home we stopped for food at Supermacs, me and Saran (best friend) shared food together. When our food came I put to many bits of salt in and it was like a desert (sand in case I spelt it wrong) Cormac, Saran and Paidi were die laughing.    I learned not to eat 5 packets of salt on tenders (minions was my favourite part)

Then when we got there, there were crowds and crowds of people.
It was in the Phoenix Park.
Everyone was split up into different teams
One was with Michelle one was with Paula Sutton
Paula Sullivan one was with Marie.
It was senior infants to 6th class.
There were people from agri-aware.
Our teacher Marie entered a competition.
And won tickets for Bloom ,then we went and got
Supermacs.
Then we went home at around 5 o,clock.
What I liked best about the day was walking around with my friends.
We had a lot of free samples.
There was a slurry tank and tractor for display.
The bus was nice.
I looked over and saw Cormac laughing and crying because Caoimhe put 5 packs of salt on her chicken tenders.

On the 31st of May 2024, senior infants to 6th class went to Bloom in the Phoenix park Dublin. All of us went by bus from Redwood to Dublin. One of our teacher’s Marie had entered a competition and won tickets for our school.
When we arrived at the Phoenix Park we passed Dublin zoo, Áras an Uachtaráin etc. When we got out of the bus we all split into groups Michelle, Marie, Paula Sutton and Paula Sullivan all took charge of the groups. Me, Lily, Luke, Ella, Diarmuid, and Sadhbh were in Paula Sullivan’s group.
When we walked in we got some ice cream. Then a lady from Agri-aware gave us a demonstration on grass, animals and some machinery. After that we went to some stalls including an Oneill’s tent we met Marie’s group there and I got a Kerry jersey. A few minutes later we went to the food hall and got loads of samples my favourite one was the apple juice.
On the way home we stopped at supermacs in the and I got a cheeseburger, chips and nuggets. I also went to the shop and got some sweets.
Overall I loved the experience and I hope to go again sometime soon.  By Kate Angus
