On the 31/4/161 Portumna men had a league final v Corinthians in the Connaught sports ground- if they won they would be the league champions.
It kicked off at 2:00, we left the house at 12:30 so we could get lunch. When we arrived Daniel and I sold flags with Josh O'Holloran. After a few minutes we were done, we made over fifty euro.
We headed into the stadium and the match kicked off. It was really intense, at half time they were down three points but we got an unreal try at the start of the second half. It was an on and off winning and losing situation but out of nowhere our second center scored and our fly half scored another try to seal the lead.
When the full time whistle blew we raced on to the pitch to congratulate the hard working players. They had won 26-14.
We went to town and got dinner in Le Bouchon I had the burger and so did Daniel, it was lovely. Dad stayed out till three or four in the morning and got a lift home, it was a fun day for me.
