On Sunday Ireland played Argentina in the RWC quarter final. We had a lot of injuries including Paul O Connell, Peter O Mahony, Jonny Sexton and Jared Payne. We also had Sean O Brien out with suspension. In the third minute Argentina scored a try after some poor defending from Ireland. Sanchez converted to put Argentina 7-0 up.Argentina scored a penalty then another try. Ireland were nearly doomed. While Argentina were 17-0 up Tommy Bowe added to Irelands injuries. Luke Fitzgerald came on and made an immediate impact by scoring a try minutes after coming on.
