This Monday we got chicks from the Hatch 4 Schools programme for 2 weeks from the Free Range Farm in Inagh Co.Clare.
We also got an incubator, a cage with feeders and a water holder with a heat plate .There is sawdust for the bedding and some food for the chicks.
Just when the eggs begin to hatch that is called a pip and when it cracks a little bit more that is called a zip so after a while the chick would come out fully. But they will have to stay in the incubator so it will get warm and fluffy
I can't wait until the eggs hatch.
