On the 21st of October Redwood N.S did CPR training with David McEvoy a member from cardiac arrest in Birr.
First we did 30 compressions and 2 breaths. A few moments later we did the AED, we got a mannequin and put two patches on the chest and on the on the ribs.We all had a go and when you pressed the button you had to shout clear to make the people get out of the way.
A little later we learned how to stop someone from choking . First we slapped them on the back . Then we put our two hands just above their belly button and squeezed as hard as we could until what they were choking on came out.
I thought it was a great experience, it's great to learn how to prevent someone from choking I would recommend doing CPR training.
